Community visit at Melbourne registry for Law Week

The Tribunal recently hosted Villamanta Disability Rights Legal Service representatives and people with disability as part of Victorian Law Week 2026.

Participants toured our Melbourne registry and talked to Tribunal staff about the review process, including what happens during a case event or hearing for reviews of National Disability Insurance Scheme decisions.

Our President, the Hon Justice Emilios Kyrou AO, spoke about the Tribunal’s role and its objective of being accessible and responsive to the diverse needs of its users.

The event also showcased our new Melbourne registry access guide, which helps people plan their visit and understand what to expect when they arrive.

This is the second year we have hosted Villamanta for Victorian Law Week. We look forward to ongoing engagement like this to ensure our services, locations and information are accessible to Tribunal users.
