Scheduled public hearings and other case events
You can download the list of hearings and other case events that are open to the public today.
Types of hearings that are open to the public
Hearings are open to the public unless we need to hold them in private for legal reasons. You can find publicly available information about cases in our eCase search database.
Hearings for National Disability Insurance Scheme cases where the application was lodged on or after 28 March 2025 are not included in the daily listings. You can contact us about hearing information for these types of cases.
Hearings that are held in private
Sometimes a Tribunal member decides to make all or part of their hearing private. Directions hearings might be held in private or in public. Cases about protection (refugee) visas, Centrelink payments, child support and some tax decisions are held in private. Private hearings are not included in the list of hearings and other case events scheduled for each day.
Attending or observing a hearing or other case event
If we have invited you to attend a Tribunal hearing or other case event, please read the information in the letter we sent you to find out when and where your event will take place.
Members of the public can also observe a public hearing.
Guidance and Appeals Panel hearings
The Guidance and Appeals Panel occasionally holds public hearings as part of its review process.
We publish a list of hearings each week, unless none are scheduled.
Livestreamed public hearings
We have started a trial to livestream selected public hearings. Livestream links will be published on this page when available.
When you join a livestream of a hearing, you agree to abide by our terms of use.
