Tribunal service delays

We receive very high numbers of applications for review of Australian Government decisions. This means people often need to wait for a long time when they contact us to ask questions. It also impacts the time it takes us to process applications.  

If you have tried to contact us by email or through the Tribunal’s online services but have not heard back from us, please do not try to contact us again. We will get back to you as soon as we can.

Every case is important but we understand some people may need to contact us more urgently than others. We may consider requests to be urgent if they involve circumstances such as:

  • legal timeframes
  • critical personal or financial impacts
  • situations where a delay may result in significant hardship.
